Adding a new authentication method

As described in the previous section, you have various options for adding an authentication method which best suits your needs and your devices. Here we will walk you through how to add an authentication method step by step.

1. Click on "Settings" in the main menu​

2. On the Settings page, select the tab "Security"​

3. Click on "Edit authentication devices"​

This screen lists the passkeys and authenication methods currently configured for this account.

To add, remove or edit your authentication methods click on "Edit authentication devices".

4. Click on "Add an authenticator"​

Follow the on-screen instructions provided for the method chosen.

5. Give your authentication method a name.​

Add a name which will help you quickly identify it in the list later and click on save.

6. Your authentication method is added​

Click cancel to return and to finish.

7. Your new authentication method will be listed​

Information is also displayed on when the key was created and last used to access your account.

You can return and delete this access method at any time.

💡 Easy Login!​

The next time you login you will be given the option to use this method to access your CERTAIN account, without the need for a password or one-time magic-link email.
