Hazard template database

Our goal from the start has been to save you time and money by eliminating duplicated effort and repetitive tasks.

To save significant time documenting similar hazards on similar products, CERTAIN provides the option to save documented hazards as templates for use at a later date.

Documenting hazards is explained in detail in the previous section "The Risk Assessment"

Here we will take a look at where these templates are located and can be viewed, searched, edited and deleted.

1. Click on Hazard templates

In the main navigation menu on the left select Hazard templates

2. Hazard template overview list

If you have created a hazard template from within a risk assessment, those hazards will be listed here.

They may be selected, edited and deleted. Select from the options menu on the right.

You may also search for a specific template using the search field top left.

3. Update and develop your templates here

The workflow for risk evaluation and completing these forms is described in detail in the risk assessment section.

Give the template a name and describe when the template may be applicable.

Here it may make sense to edit in such a was as to create generic templates which are easier to integrate into machine specific risk assesments in the future.

Editing your templates here is independant from any projects. Amending templates here will not affect any existing projects either saved or ongoing.

Remember to save any changes to your templates before leaving the section.

4. Editing or deleting hazard templates

Select from the menu on the right.

💡 Using hazard templates

By carefully defining and documenting your hazards here you can accelerate the preparation of future risk assessments considerably.
